Been a ham since 1980, so I've been around! Worked my way through the ranks when there were 5 ranks! Passed the 20 WPM code test, just before the code was axed from the licensing requirements, by choice. It was a great challenge. I enjoy operating voice and CW on HF and own a radio to operate 2 M and 70 cm. Want to do digital, but need to get an interface actually working after getting my computer and radio in the same vicinity! I am addicted to computer programming, networking and playing around with all versions of Windows (yes, including 8 now), Linux and Mac (no, don't be sorry, it's awesome). Anything else, feel free to chat with me at one of the many ham radio meetings I attend! 73, Jim
