RAWNY COOKOUT 9/10 @ 6:30pm 

The first meeting of the 2024-25 RAWNY Club year will be held Tuesday September 10th beginning at 6:30 p.m. As we have done for the past couple of years, if you pay your annual dues of $20 that night, you will receive a complementary hot dog, chips and pop for free. Anyone that wishes to receive the weenie roast supper that night but not pay dues till later can pay $3 instead.

We’ll have an outdoor demonstration as well as our kick-off meeting inside.

Our September guest speaker is Bruce, N2NJO. Bruce has done extensive work with spectrum analyzers and will demo and explain their operation. He will also talk about Return Loss Coefficient; how to measure it and how to use it to analyze your antenna system. It is a much more elegant and accurate way to determine antenna performance compared to just measuring SWR.
