The February meeting is our annual Movie Night. We always try to feature a movie or documentary that’s amateur radio-themed or tied in with military history since our club station, W2PE, is located on USS Little Rock.
For our upcoming movie night, we will be showing the movie “Bombshell: The Hedy Lamarr Story.” For those who don’t know, Hedy Lamarr was not only a talented actress, but she is also credited with inventing spread-spectrum communications during World War 2.
Our meetings begin at 7:00 pm and are held at the Church of the Nativity, 1530 Colvin Blvd (one block north of Sheridan Drive) in Tonawanda, NY.
Hope to see everyone there!
