Membership Information

Annual membership to the Radio Association of Western New York runs from September to September. For example, if you join RAWNY in September of 2024 you would be attending all of our general meetings that take place on the second Tuesday of each month from September 2024 through May of the 2025 and any Summer 2025 events.

In May, we shift our “meetings” to operating events at our club station, W2PE, on board the USS Little Rock and other locations around Western New York. These events, which include Field Day, take place from May until August. In September, we resume our regular meeting schedule.

Membership to RAWNY also includes access to our remote radio station, an Icom IC-7300 in Maryland.

We offer several membership/renewal levels:
New membership: $25.00 (credit card: $26.24)
Individual membership/renewal: $20.00 (credit card: $21.09)
Family membership: $25.00 (credit: $26.24)
Full-time student membership: $10.00 (credit card: $10.79)

* Please note:

  • For NEW MEMBERSHIP, ONLY, a one time $5.00 new member fee is included.
  • RAWNY remote access usage is included in each level of membership

Membership Application

  1. Online Payment (Credit Card / PayPal): When paying online, a small credit card/PayPal processing fee is added to your membership charge. The amount you pay covers the full cost of membership and the (PayPal) transaction fee.

     

  2. Check or Cash Payment: To avoid online processing fees, you may pay by cash or check. Please download the fillable PDF membership form provided below.

     

  3. Application Review & Refund Policy: All membership applications, whether submitted online or via the printable PDF form, are subject to review and approval by the Board of Directors. Submitting a form and/or payment does not guarantee membership. In the event that your membership application is declined by the Board of Directors, your full online or in-person payment will be promptly refunded.
